Join us for a screening and DVD release party for a documentary film about famed animator, the KING of indi animation, Bill Plympton- “Adventures in Plymptoons!” by the talented artist/filmmaker, Alexia Anastasio. This insightful and hilarious documentary takes you inside the animated imagination, world and life of Bill Plympton, revealing his background, character, and work ethic- a work ethic which is rare in the film world. The film is told through interviews with many of his celebrity colleagues and friends, who paint (or shall I say, “draw”) a clearer picture of this successful animator, and also told through some of Bill Plympton’s own animations!
Admission is free, and guests can purchase copies of the DVD at the event!
